ARTICLE IN PROGRESS.
This is a decision table for a Rohloff-equipped 29-er like my Utopia Kranich, intended to enable a decision between all the permitted Rohloff chainring/sprocket ratios a tourer may want to consider for which a Hebie Chainglider is also available. Doubleclick the table to see it full size. The specifics are a 60mm tyre on a 622mm rim, and a cadence of 60rpm. Adjust for your preferred pedaling cadence and tire size.
Next table is for 26x1.6in tyre at a cadence of 80rpm. Click to see fullsize.
